Demo — DesignIn MotionFestival
This year a few of my works were part of the Design in Motion Festival. DEMO shows the world’s best motion design on outdoor screens in the public space.
The full motion programme was shown in the Netherlands, in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Tilburg, Eindhoven and Utrecht. Together with some friends we see the over 560 beautiful motion pieces made by so many great designers.

A special selection was also shown on XL and spectacular screens in Amsterdam, Antwerp, Brussels, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Cardiff, Leeds, Madrid, Barcelona, Los Angeles and Vancouver.
The work I sent in was based on earlier motion explorations. It consists of a line of circles, where the total length must stay the same. So if one circle grows, the others have to make room by shrinking. Doing this along a smooth curve, and using multiple lines, results in all sorts of nice motion pieces.
